Smile Tour 2001 - Marti in great voice
Giving his fans most pleasure, Marti Pellow seemed to be in top form during his second solo tour. Surely in possession of one of the best soul voices ever he provided his musical talents singing old and new tunes. He surprised with new intro's and different impressive arrangements which made him even more fascinating for the cheering crowd. From start till end of his two hour set, he was in control and had the audience eating out of his hands. He just makes you feel great! Despite his moving and dancing on stage he always kept the strength and beauty of his sound. He managed to surround himself with a fantastic band, containing three superb female backing singers, two amazing keyboard players, completed with a fine bassist, guitarist and drummer. my favorites, the other ones are fantastic too!!! Really have no song I
didn't fancy....In advance of the concert I hoped for 'Universal Bus' as
the opening song, but I also loved the changed Sweet Little Mystery. The
